The wealth and power class will never allow you to substantially “reform” the political structure – the very thing that upholds their wealth and authority – from within. You won’t be allowed to vote away the structure that props up their privilege – any strides you might make will eventually be dismantled once the power class begins to feel even slightly threatened.
Actual progress requires actual revolution.
